Halfway of the drive, excitement is starting to build up, suspense lurking behind me, butterflies fluttering, I didn’t know what to expect at my first DXC.
I brought a pair of De La Soul Low’s SB, Black Cement’s ‘11, and sea glow.
I made some quick cash by selling the SB’s and sea glow. I was a little upset that people stole a couple of bottles of sea glow but it doesn’t reflect my well being and health so I am not tripping about it a lot.
I met two cool people during my wait with my friends. Mike and Lee. They were really cool people with major heat. When I finally passed through the doors, my eyes couldn’t close due to the immense eye candy. It felt like an oven due to the amount of heat in the club haha.
I saw OG Carmines to BIN 13’s, Doernbecher 1’s,3’s,4’s, and 6. Seriously I could cook marsh mellows over the amount of straight fire under one roof. I was surprised the building didn’t burn down lol.
My overall experience was good nevertheless. After DXC, we went to Fuddruckers and got more than what I bargained for. Got a Legend burger and mint chocolate chip icecream :)
I was bummed that I couldn’t find a pair of 01’ Black Cement’s though. Ah well, there’s always next year.
